Where Did the "Place Your Ads Here" Section Go?

Well, if you're reading this and wondering where the "Place Your Ads Here" section went, then you're not logged in!

Log in and you'll see it in its usual place.

Why is it invisible when I'm not logged in?

I'm hiding it from non registered users for two reasons:

1. To stop spammers signing up and simply placing ads and not participating in the forum. That bugs the hell out of me!

2. To prevent the search engines spidering that forum and seeing all the advertising links, which are detrimental to the page rank of this site overall!

So if you want to place an ad as usual, simply log in and you'll see the Ads forum where you can post it as before!

Further to the above, I've removed the free ads section from this board as it serves no useful purpose except as a way of spamming a load or urls in a post which was probably one of the reasons this forum lost its PR with Google.

There are plenty of other places to advertise for free in other forums, but in the best interests of this forum, I've decided to keep it social and information based only. So no more ads please - thanks!
