Tony,
I know this thread is a bit old, but one of the things I've been doing lately is something I learned off of ezines. I do what's called 7 tips articles. I try to find 7 things I can write about a single subject. ex. 7 ways fish oil is good for your heart, or something along those lines. If you have 5-7 tips it is not too difficult to write a 300 word article, just 50-60 words per tip. It also breaks up the article so it is more reader friendly.
Next, I try and take and write if possible 7 ideas on each one of those tips, so you can actually write about 6-7 articles off the original article. This method makes writing multiple articles a lot easier, at least for me. You can then just change words and phrases and post on your blogs, email list if you have one, etc.
