Blogger and Indexing

Anyone think that Google is losing interest in Blogger blogs? It seems like it takes forever (in my case 12 days) to get indexed and ranking for keywords is very very difficult. Just to give you the particulars as far as my attempts to get indexed, it included putting up 4 articles that were keyword optimized on the site and pointing a dozen links to the site. The links were indexed in Google within 30 seconds (literally) and 24 hours. But it still took 12 days for the blog to get indexed, but not ranked for my keywords.

I am still following Griz's articles about blogger blogs, but that is 2 year old info. So does anyone have any recent experiences with blogger?

It seems that G might be taking more time to index blogger blogs nowadays because so many spammers use them. If you put up more quality original content and build backlinks to it then you should be fine.
