What he lost on his Beginners blog he made on his WP MMO blog - that's a PR4 now. Its likely one of the high PR sites that link to his Beginners blog got slapped or deindexed - that's one of the drawbacks of using a link farm you have no control over.

I'm calling it the 'Court Curse' since both he and Vic (Blogger Unleashed) lost PR because they have prominent links to Court's blog that was under a cloud up until very recently. That's probably not the case but it sounds good.

What's odd is that OpTempo links to the same sites and more and it remained at PR4 with many back pages gaining rank as well, including one that went to PR6. I don't think that they were 'leaking juice' any more than I was.

I suspect that some of their key links got devalued by Google, perhaps from Court, perhaps from other places. I don't think that it was anything they did.

Google is up to funny business. One of my blogs managed to get a PR4 internal post and now that seems to have disappeared . Not that it really matters too much at the end of the day, it's just strange.
