Am I sandboxed or what happened?

I have a site that was getting almost 200 uniques per day, mainly for one page on a health related topic. This site has been around for over 1 year with me and has never had a problem.

All of a sudden, last week it disappeared from Google. It's still indexed if I do the site:domain.com thing with it, but no traffic at all from G anymore. I am getting some from Yahoo and MSN, but I'm stumped.

Is this a sandbox because the site started getting heavy on traffic or something else? I'm really stumped because its an aged domain too, not like it's new or anything.

Just looking for opinions or if anyone else is seeing something like this right now too....

I had a site with 100-200 unique visitors per day, and one day I lost all traffic from G. It has been 3 or 4 months since then, and I get 2-3 uniques from G every 3 or 4 weeks. Go figure. Don't know why it happened. I didn't do any changes at all since it was earning $100 per month and I shifted my focus on other blogs. I'm still adding links and posts to it, because it might come alive again.

And I hope it can since I had other site that was sandboxed because it reached some good SE position for several posts and main page. It was out for 5 or 6 months (one of my first blogs actually) without any traffic from G, and 30 days ago it started climbing and gaining traffic.

I remember Court's project ColoradoLasikSurgeryGuide.com was in sandbox for 45 days. This means that your site may get traffic after few week or after few months. I learned there aren't any rules, that is what my own blogs showed me. Keep building links and posts and hope it will come around.

Too old for the sandbox but could be just a dance. Get a few more links to it and wait and see. It happens all the time though so don't sweat it, just roll with it.

Yeah, could be a dance as I'm having problems with one of my niche sites that was a number one on several main KWs in Google's index. This morning its traffic dropped to nothing and it has vanished.

This is a site that has gone through the wars.

Its a Blogger I set up 18 months ago in a shoes related niche - it got flagged by some asshole and I had to get it back.

Then G de-indexed completely it for about 3 months. Then it came back, started rising in the serps, then got sandboxed for another two months.

It came back in October 2008 and started dominating its main KWs, so I put adsense on and it did quite well fro nearly 3 months. It must have got reported by a competitor who it overtook in the serps because it dropped out of sight again for the first 3 weeks in January.

When it came back it went straight to the top again for some of the main KWs , traffic increased and my adsense started getting a nice stream of clicks again.

Now this morning - gone again! WTF?
