PR Update

There was a surprise PR update last night - a month early than expected.

Most of my sites have been whacked across the board - even thehonestway got demoted to a PR2 which upset me! Its corresponding Squidoo lens lost its PR3 and is now unranked.

I made a couple of gains with my weight loss project sites but overall this has been disappointing. What has really annoyed me is a PR3 blog I had just bought as an expired domain to spam PayPerPost with has been slapped down to nothing and I only managed to get one paid post on there, so it only covered its cost - damn!

How's everyone else faring?

Wasn't expecting that one...I'm seeing a few that have dropped in PR, but most have stayed the same...unless they aren't done yet!

I've got a 3 month old blog that's gone up to PR2 - I'm rather pleased!

Yeah, whacked sounds about right for me, too. I had some PR 4 pages on a site that were taken down to a PR 2 and the PR 3 pages are now PR 0 or 1.

Oh well, at least we are keeping busy enough to not dwell on it.

Some of my blogs are better, the other got same PR as the last one.

Has anyone else noticed there sites pr changing back to before the recent update. All my sites that had a pr change one way or the other have went back to their previous pr. Or someone slipped me a funny cigarette.

I guess I haven't been in the game long enough to get any pr going on my sites yet, they all still list at 0 on the pr checker sites however my main site is in the top 5 for 8 of it's long tails already

How do you know when Big G does a PR update? Is it announced or do you just have to watch your site PR to see if it changes?
